Jonathan Majors Loses Longtime Manager Amid Assault Scandal

The sky is looking gray for Jonathan Majors! While many are embracing an innocent until proven guilty stance in his domestic violence case, the actor’s talent management seemingly gave their verdict.

Before his world crashed, the 33-year-old made waves in Hollywood with box-office hits like “Creed III.” However, his phenomenal portrayal of villainous characters hit a little close to home following assault allegations.

The entertainer was arrested in late March after an alleged physical altercation with an unnamed woman in New York City. As his beloved image crumbled, so did the Santa Barbara native’s connections in the entertainment industry.

In the wake of his arrest on domestic violence charges, Deadline revealed that the consequences of these damning allegations have started taking root. The Yale University alum recently ended his longtime contract with his talent manager Entertainment 360.

The dissolution of the parties’ relationship came three weeks after an unidentified woman in her thirties slammed the “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” star for physical assault. However, sources claimed Majors’ arrest did not influence the actor’s departure.

Staying cryptic about Entertainment 360’s decision to let the TV personality go, the insiders revealed the Santa Barbara native was removed because of “issues surrounding the actor’s behavior.”

This new information raised more questions about the 33-year-old’s off-screen personality, as one could only imagine what he said or did to end his relationship with the talent management company.

Although the “Lovecraft Country” star’s arrest was not mentioned, it may have influenced the separation given the actor’s alleged behavioral problems with the organization. Additionally, the father-of-one did not win favors with his PR firm, The Lede Company.

After his domestic violence charges, the publicist organization bid its final farewell to the Marvel actor in March. Apart from losing his manager and media representatives, the “Devotion” actor would skip out on this year’s Met Gala.

Majors shall miss the highly-anticipated event after a mutual agreement with the fashion brand Valentino to not participate in the upcoming ceremony as a guest. Before the derailment of his career, the Primetime Emmy Award nominee had secured another appearance in the Marvel franchise.

The news outlet confirmed that the 33-year-old had filmed the second season of Marvel/Disney’s Loki, where the actor reprised his role as the villainous character Kang the Conqueror. However, he would not be shooting scenes for the next MCU installment, “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty,” anytime soon.

Although Marvel showrunners have not announced plans to replace Majors in their successful franchise, talks about a new actor might not happen, given the entertainer’s cries of innocence.

The University of North Carolina School of the Arts alum previously assured fans that the allegations against him were false, sharing his opinions through his defense attorney, Priya Chaudhry.

The rising actor’s statements came after he made bail the same day he was arrested on “misdemeanor assault, aggravated harassment, attempted assault, and harassment” charges following a “domestic dispute” with his rumored girlfriend.

“Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is probably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows,” Chaudhry claimed in his statement. “We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney, expecting that all charges will be dropped imminently.”

The proof reportedly included video footage from the vehicle where the alleged assault happened, testimonies from eyewitnesses, and two written declarations from the victim retracting her domestic violence allegations.

Last month, The Blast shared details about the shocking accusations thrown at the Santa Barbara native. Reports from the New York Police Department revealed what allegedly transpired between the actor and a 30-year-old woman.

“Authorities arrested the Last Black Man in San Francisco” star following their response to a 911 call from a distressed female. The scene painted was that of a 33-year-old male involved in a domestic dispute with an anonymous woman.

In their statement, the NYPD noted that the alleged victim “informed police she was assaulted,” causing the responding officers to arrest Majors, who gave in without incident.

Authorities also observed that the woman had sustained minor injuries to her head and neck, leading to her transfer to a hospital for treatment. As for her alleged abuser, the entertainer’s spokesperson noted that the actor received strangulation, assault, and harassment charges.
