Manchester United have ‘made contact’ with Thomas Tuchel over the opportunity of the Bayern Munich head coach changing Erik ten Hag.
That’s based on new reviews in Germany, which have emerged following United’s slim FA Cup victory over Coventry Metropolis on Sunday.
Tuchel is leaving Bayern on the finish of the season and it’s thought that managing United could be his dream job.
It was reported again in January that United had shortlisted Tuchel as a candidate to succeed Ten Hag.
It’s now thought that United have made contact with Tuchel and that minority proprietor Sir Jim Ratcliffe ‘extremely values’ the previous Chelsea boss.
Ratcliffe has reportedly requested Tuchel ‘a few dedication for the approaching season’ if the Crimson Devils determine to half methods with Ten Hag.
Talking after United beat Coventry on penalties this weekend to succeed in the FA Cup closing, Jamie Carragher tipped Ten Hag to be sacked.
