Trump is praising Greece for its protection spending below NATO and is noting a possible sale to Greece to improve its F-16 plane, which he says can be value as much as $2.4 billion and generate hundreds of U.S. jobs.
Tsipras says his nation has made financial strides and is “abandoning the financial mannequin that led to the disaster.” He says Greece’s relationship with the U.S. is “extra necessary than ever.”
