The TTC says there isn’t any subway service on a portion of Line 2 from Kipling Station to Jane Station after a monitor stage hearth.
TTC mentioned on X there was a track-level hearth at Islington Station on Thursday.
Shuttle buses are operating between the stations as they make restore efforts.
Delays are anticipated Friday at Kipling Station, Islington Station, Royal York Station, Outdated Mill Station and Jane Station, the TTC mentioned.
TTC mentioned service after Jane Station going eastbound is just not affected.
“Longer journey instances anticipated on Line 2 west finish; think about GO Transit from Kipling to Union or UP Categorical for airport journey,” TTC mentioned on X.
The reason for the fireplace from Thursday is unknown.
