London Medication says it’s working with third-party safety specialists as the corporate tries to reopen dozens of shops throughout Western Canada that had been shuttered by a cybersecurity incident Sunday.
The retailer now says private knowledge might have been compromised within the incident, marking a reversal from a earlier assertion indicating the corporate had no motive to imagine any such private info had been breached.
As the corporate entered the third day of retailer closures Tuesday, it launched an announcement saying investigators are “at present assessing the extent to which any knowledge has been compromised within the incident,” which compelled the closure of all retailer areas in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba over the weekend.
