Tanariri Theatres’ Matsya Avatar is written by Neeraja M Rajeev in English and translated to Hindi and directed by Pranav Patadiya. Matsya Avatar, Pranav says over a name from his residence in Brookefield, is a journey of an island because it faces destruction by the hands of nature. “The play explores what the folks on the island try for and the way they love and dream because the inevitable inches nearer.”
He and Neeraja are each from the company world and based Tanariri Theatres in 2013 for the love of theatre. “Until date, we’ve produced and carried out seven performs in Hindi and English — Naatak Shuru, 4 12 months Rework, Let’s Have Intercourse!, The Inexperienced Room, Evam Indrajit, Aisa Kehte Hain and Lights Out. “
Matysa Avatar is their eighth manufacturing and first authentic script, says Pranav. “The play is a reimagining of the Matsya Avatar story. Neeraja has taken the story to replicate on at the moment’s society. There’s nonetheless no divine intervention within the play.
