Requested about Mr Johnson being turned away, Northern Eire Secretary Chris Heaton-Harris, who served as his chief whip, instructed BBC Radio: “As somebody who is aware of Boris nicely, I am unable to say it fully surprises me… I do know that he then merely went residence, obtained some ID, went again to the polling station and voted Conservative.”
