IMA Financial Group Inc. Wednesday said former McGriff Insurance Services Inc. executive John Mizell has joined the broker in the newly created position of director in IMA Houston’s energy & marine practice.
Mr. Mizell is experienced with onshore and offshore energy packages as well as marine packages including hull, protection and indemnity, cargo, and marine liabilities, IMA said in a statement.
He was most recently executive vice president and energy & marine practice leader for McGriff’s Houston office. Prior to that, he was managing director at Marsh Inc., leading the marine practice for the South Central region, according to the statement.
