A Danielsville man faces a long list of driving offense charges in Madison County.
Shannon Dwayne Turpin, 46, Hwy. 98, Danielsville, was arrested Wednesday, Jan. 3, and charged with acquiring a license plate for the purpose of concealing the identification of a motor vehicle, driving while driver’s license is suspended or revoked, two counts of financial transaction card fraud, identity theft fraud when using/possessing identification information concerning a person, knowingly making a false statement pertaining to motor vehicle insurance requirement, littering, open container in a vehicle, possession and use of drug-related objects, possession of methamphetamine, taillights required and tampering with evidence.
Other arrests on file at the sheriff’s office this past week include:
•Jamie-Lee Elizabeth Dorsey, 33, Homestead Road, Danielsville, serving sentence.
•Isaias Macias-Castro, 37, National Circle, Tucker, driving without a valid driver’s license, Driving Under the Influence (DUI), expired vehicle tag or decal, failure to drive within a single lane and no valid insurance.
•Katheryn Michelle Marlow, 30, Strickland Circle, Colbert, probation violation.
•William Brent Swilling, 37, Hwy. 72 West, Colbert, failure to appear and probation violation.
•Bryan Vincent Wheat, 42, Wesley Chapel Road, Danielsville, faces charges of battery – Family Violence Act (FVA), three counts of cruelty to children and simple battery – FVA after he reportedly grabbed his wife and threw her against a wall during a domestic dispute.
•Lucas Brandon Baird, 41, Hwy. 29 South, Danielsville, DUI – alcohol, two counts of failure to stop for a stop sign, fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer and open container in a vehicle.
•Melissa Lynn Ballew, 34, Ivywood Drive, Hull, was charged with simple battery – FVA for her involvement in a mobile physical domestic dispute with her boyfriend.
•Luna Luis Carlos, 36, Amethyst Drive, Athens, driving without a valid driver’s license, DUI – alcohol and stopping, standing or parking outside of a business or residence.
•Adam Samuel Duncan, 36, Macedonia Church Road, Danielsville, DUI, knowingly driving a motor vehicle on suspended, cancelled or revoked registration, no valid insurance, speeding (16-25 miles over) and taillights required.
•Jordan Scotty Grimes, 32, Fred Goss Road, Danielsville, probation violation.
•Matthew Kemp Harris, 26, County Route 68, Bremen, Alabama, faces a charge of driving while driver’s license is suspended or revoked when a traffic stop was conducted on his vehicle on Neese-Commerce Road at Eller Road, Commerce.
•James Scott Hollars, 54, Arnoldsville Road, Arnoldsville, two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of cruelty to children.
•Valorie Shawn King, 54, Jones Mathews Road, Hull, hold for Rabun Gap Police Department.
•Lucas Will Moon, 35, Bishop Carey Road, Danielsville, two counts of battery, criminal trespass – FVA and simple battery – FVA.
•Shenika Shantay Reid, 36, Imagine Drive, Dewy Rose, house for Royston Police Department.
•Agbert Larry Samples Jr., 54, West Minish Lake Road, Commerce, faces a charge of simple battery – FVA for his involvement in a domestic dispute with a woman at a home on Duncan Swindle Road, Commerce.
