Munich Re Specialty, a unit of Munich Reinsurance Co., Monday named former Homesite Underwriting Managers LLC executive Claudia Carnevale head of U.S. programs.
Ms. Carnevale will lead the U.S. programs business, which includes more than 28 active programs with 11 partners and has more than $1 billion in gross written premiums, Munich Re Specialty said in a statement.
Based in New York, she reports to Kevin Johnson, president, North America programs, the statement said.
Ms. Carnevale was most recently senior vice president and chief risk officer for Homesite, the programs division of Homesite Insurance Inc.
