The U.S. President came out with some … interesting marital advice during a speech on Tuesday.
Joe Biden was in New Hampshire, discussing the PACT Act, which aims to improve veterans’ access to health care. He referenced the father of a woman whose husband, a soldier in Vietnam, had recently died of cancer.

“Her dad, Anthony, joined the navy when he was 18 years old, served in World War Two,” the President said. “He’s now 96 years old, and I think he’s here in the room today.”

Referencing his Catholicism, Biden then said: “No purgatory for this guy. Five daughters. Straight to heaven. And by the way, I say to every young man thinking of getting married, marry into a family of five or more daughters. I did. My wife is the oldest of five sisters. You know why? One of them will always love you.”
Over scattered laughter from the crowd he added: “Not the same one. One of them will always be on your side. That’s the biggest advantage of marrying into five daughters.”
