Industry veteran founder brings experience from WTW
Crestfield Risk, a new partnership platform aimed at uniting and supporting leading independent insurance agencies across the US, has entered the market.
Spearheaded by industry veteran Jeff Turner, the platform is designed to provide agencies with top-tier resources, insights, and growth opportunities to enhance client services and ensure long-term prosperity. The venture is backed by The Vistria Group, a private investment firm that balances purpose with profit.
Crestfield Risk employs a co-ownership model that aligns agency partners through equity stakes at both the agency and holding company levels. The model allows Crestfield Risk to work closely with agency leaders, helping them maintain their unique strengths while providing the necessary resources to deliver exceptional service and achieve significant impact on a larger scale.
Mike Castleforte, senior partner and co-head of financial services at The Vistria Group, commented: “Crestfield Risk stands out because of its deep focus on enabling long-term agency prosperity. We are excited to partner with Jeff and support Crestfield Risk’s trailblazing platform that strengthens agencies’ abilities to deliver for their clients and communities.”
Turner, whose career began as an independent insurance agent in Texas, previously served as CEO of Keystone Agency Partners. His credentials also include several leadership roles at WTW.
“We are thrilled to partner with Crestfield Risk and deliver best-in-class resources to agency leaders,” The Vistria Group senior partner and co-head of financial services Boris Rapoport added.
“At The Vistria Group, we pride ourselves on having deep industry knowledge in the sectors where we invest. Jeff’s extensive experience and strong reputation in the industry make him an ideal partner for us and for leading independent insurance agencies.”
