AssuredPartners Inc. said Thursday it has acquired Tampa, Florida-based agency Italiano Insurance Services Inc.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Italiano was founded in 1960 and employs 34 people between its offices in Tampa and Boca Raton, Florida. It provides coverages including commercial lines, personal lines and employee benefits.
The agency’s staff will remain under the operational leadership of Jeffrey Italiano and Nelson “Nat” Italiano and will join AssuredPartners’ Southeast Region, which is headed by Jack Suber, regional president, the broker said in a statement.
Orlando, Florida-based AssuredPartners is the 11th largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s most recent ranking.
