Poco has officially launched its highly anticipated Poco F6 smartphone in India, starting at Rs 29,999. The device, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, promises a blend of high performance, advanced camera capabilities, and long-lasting battery life. The launch event highlighted the F6’s superior display features, aiming to redefine mid-range smartphone expectations.
The Poco F6 is available in two color variants: Classic Black and Titanium Glow. It features a 6.67-inch CrystalRes Flow AMOLED display with a resolution of 2712×1220 and a pixel density of 446 PPI. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and offers an Always-on display with up to 2400 nits of peak brightness.
In terms of pricing, the Poco F6’s base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 29,999. The higher variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at Rs 31,999. Another variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at Rs 33,999. However, special offers on the first day of the sale can bring these prices down to Rs 25,999, Rs 27,999, and Rs 29,999, respectively. These discounts include Rs 2,000 bank offers and Rs 2,000 product exchange offers, along with an additional 1+1 year warranty.
The Poco F6 boasts a dual-rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), dual Sony cameras with an f/1.59 aperture, and HDR10+ support for video. The smartphone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 90W turbocharging, promising swift and efficient charging.
The device is designed to be 7.8mm thin and has acquired IP64 dust and water resistance. Under the hood, the Poco F6 runs on the Xiaomi Hyper operating system based on Android 14. It is the first phone in India to feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, with a 4nm fabrication process, a high-performance Cortex-X4 core, and an Adreno 735 GPU. The device is coupled with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The Poco F6 will be available for purchase on Flipkart starting May 29 at 12 PM. ICICI credit and debit cardholders, as well as those opting for EMI transactions, can avail an instant discount of Rs 2,000.
