OC Transpo, give us better service
As I do not drive, I am dependent on OC Transpo to get me where I need to be. Over the last few years the service has continued to deteriorate. I have had to wait up to an hour for a bus that supposedly runs every 13 minutes. I have had to run from the bus stop back home to call a cab to make it to a doctor’s appointment on time after two buses failed to show.

Canadians will cheer the Oilers
A Citizen article recently suggested that the Edmonton Oilers, despite the fact that they are the last NHL Canadian team left in the playoffs, would have a hard time being supported by all of Canadian citizens.
Nonsense! They are a team of vitality, lead by Connor McDavid, whose skills are a marvel to watch. Leon Draisaitl is a European sharpshooter second to none and Zach Hyman displays tenacity, gumption and a will to succeed and exceed. Edmonton is a kind of western, eastern, central, every-man, world-class, mall-driven town. What’s not to like?
Canadians are behind the Oilers. They are exciting. We want them to win. We will cheer them on, from coast to coast to coast.

No doctors, but lots of tipple
Hurrah! The premier is speeding up his libation liberation in the province. Rather than having to wait until 2026, we will be free to purchase our favourite tipple outside of monopoly beer and liquor stores beginning this August — proving that it’s much easier for the government to provide Ontarians with easy access to hooch than it is to provide them with any access to health care.
