Howden Re, the reinsurance unit of Howden Broking Group Ltd., Friday named former Guy Carpenter LLC executive David Hearn as chairman, global clients strategy.
He will support client service teams including advising large, multiproduct insurance companies with international presence and complex coverage needs, a Howden statement said.
Mr. Hearn was most recently executive vice president at Guy Carpenter LLC in the firm’s global account advisory group. Prior to that, he was with Willis Re, part of Willis Towers Watson PLC, according to the statement.
This is a newly created role and he will be based in the U.S., according to an email from a spokesman.
