Parents will often get their camera out at every opportunity to capture as many family moments as possible, and it’s safe to say that this 5-year-old is very comfortable in front of the lens.
While Liza Heirman was enjoying a “cute moment” with her children at the beach, she hadn’t anticipated that her daughter Ella-June would turn it into her very own photoshoot. As her dad filmed the trio relaxing on the sand, Ella-June didn’t hesitate in posing for the camera and showing off her best angles.
The 5 year old’s confidence never ceases to amaze Heirman, who told Newsweek that it’s just “so typically her.” There’s no doubt that Ella-June knows where the camera is and she will gladly strike a pose as soon as she knows it’s pointed at her.
After watching the video back, Heirman couldn’t resist sharing it to TikTok late last month (@lizaheirman), much to the delight of social media users. The video has gone viral, already amassing more than 5.5 million views and over 837,200 likes in a matter of days.
The video’s text overlay reads: “POV: your dad tries to capture a cute moment but you’re on the covershoot for Vogue.”
Heirman, from Gent, Belgium, said: “The video captured such a random, spontaneous moment. We were playing at the beach on our holiday in Greece, and no one asked her to pose because it was just meant to be a family shot. I love capturing these moments, so we’ve already done a few family photoshoots and she’s loved every minute of them. She loves fashion, dancing, being creative, and obviously, she loves to pose.”
Heirman loves seeing her daughter’s confidence shine through at such as young age, and she always champions that side of her personality. She hopes that Ella-June will always feel this good about herself and never stops being who she is.

“This is pretty standard when she’s with us and when she feels comfortable,” Heirman said. “Her attitude has been there since she was a baby. But in new surroundings or with people she doesn’t know, she’s actually a bit shy—I know it may seem hard to believe that.”
She added: “The confidence is kind of in her DNA as I’m a professional dancer and own a dance studio, so she’s been taking lessons since she was a little baby. She admires the older dancers and they’re her besties. It’s so beautiful to see her be so passionate about something already.”

The reaction to the video has been beyond anything Heirman could have expected, but she’s loved the overwhelmingly positive response it’s gained. The mom-of-two loved seeing so many people “cheering her on,” and lauding Ella-June’s confidence at such a young age.
It’s safe to say, after seeing Ella-June flaunt her best poses for the camera, many TikTok users were quick to praise her and are looking forward to seeing her future career in modeling.
Among the 2,000 comments on the viral post, one TikTok user wrote: “she was SERVING.”
Another user joked: “She’s the main character and she knows it.”
While another comment reads: “So nice of her to invite y’all to her photoshoot!”
A fourth added: “She understands the assignment.”
