The heartwarming drama ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has completed its first week at the box office with a commendable collection of Rs 25 crore. Despite a minor drop in numbers on Thursday, the film has managed to maintain a steady performance throughout the week.
According to early estimates reported by sacnilk.com, ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ earned approximately Rs 1.75 crore on its seventh day, bringing its nett collections to the Rs 24.5-25 crore mark.The film had a strong start, opening with an impressive Rs 6.75 crore on Day 1. Over the weekend, it raked in an estimated Rs 4.6 crore on Saturday and Rs 5.5 crore on Sunday, resulting in a total first-weekend collection of Rs 16.85 crore nett.
The movie continued to perform well on weekdays, earning an estimated Rs 2.15 crore on Monday and Rs 1.85 crore on Tuesday, maintaining a consistent graph on Wednesday. By the end of its first week, ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ achieved a gross collection of Rs 26.45 crore.
On the international front, the film brought in an additional Rs 2 crore, pushing its overall total to an estimated Rs 28.45 crore.

Directed by Sharan Sharma, ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ features Janhvi Kapoor as Mahima, a doctor who becomes a cricketer after her husband Mahendra, played by Rajkummar Rao, recognizes her talent and encourages her to pursue her dream. The film also boasts an ensemble cast including Rajesh Sharma, Kumud Mishra, and Zarina Wahab.
This marks the second collaboration between Janhvi Kapoor and director Sharan Sharma, following their previous successful venture.
