City police are asking residents in the area of Hull Crescent, Forrester Road, Olmstead Road, Cooper Way and Cooper Crescent to check their yards and disposal bins for evidence that could be connected with Saskatoon’s 11th homicide of 2024.
Officers who were called to the 400 block of Forrester Road — a parking lot next to Fairhaven School — early Wednesday morning found paramedics treating a 66-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.

He was taken to hospital, where he died of those injuries, police said in a news release Wednesday afternoon.
Major crimes investigators are asking area residents to check their properties and review any security camera footage “for signs of suspicious activity” between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m., the release said.
Anyone with information is asked to call police directly at 306-975-8300 or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
