It is going to be a wet and windy day over a large part of the province.
Environment and Climate Change Canada issued a number of weather warnings on Sunday, with heavy downpours and locally heavy rainfall as well as strong winds forecast. The weather agency also said localized flooding was possible in low-lying areas is possible as well as flash floods and water pooling on roads.

Rainfall warnings for 40 to 70 mm are in effect for Hanson Lake, Pelican Narrows, Cumberland House, Creighton, La Ronge, Prince Albert National Park, Narrow Hills Provincial Park, Southend, Brabant Lake and Kinoosao,
Motorists should avoid driving through water on roads and going near washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts, Environment Canada says, adding that even shallow, fast-moving water across a road can sweep a vehicle or a person away.
Wind warnings with gusts forecast to be in excess of 90 km/h were also issued for Humboldt, Wynyard, Wadena, Lanigan, Foam Lake, Melfort, Tisdale, Nipawin, Carrot River, Kamsack, Canora, Preeceville, Yorkton, Melville and Esterhazy. Environment Canada said that damage to buildings, roof shingles and windows may occur and utility outages are possible.
The wind and rain was expected to pass by Sunday night.
