Tech giants Meta Platforms, Inc., and Apple Inc. are likely to face charges for violating landmark European Union regulations aimed at limiting their dominance, possibly facing fines of up to 10% of their global annual turnover, Reuters reported citing Financial Times. The European Commission launched investigations into the two firms as well as Alphabet Inc.’s Google in March under the Digital Markets Act.
