Insurance and reinsurance broker Aon plc expects insured losses arising from the recent severe floods that affected southern Germany to total between €2.3 billion ($2.5 billion) and €2.8 billion, MarketScreener reported. The broker does not expect prices in natural catastrophe reinsurance to increase due to the flooding. Furthermore, it does not expect the flooding to have a significant impact on the reinsurance business in the country.
