A new report by India-based application security firm showed that Indian websites saw a massive year-on-year increase of 261% in cyber attacks in the first quarter of this year, Business Standard reported. Power and energy firms faced up to 500 times higher number of attacks than the industry average. It also said that DDoS attacks increased by 76% compared to the same period of the previous year.
