Japanese automakers Toyota Motor Corp. said it will halt six production lines at five of its plants in the country due to a parts shortage, Just Auto reported citing Reuters. The firm said that it has not yet decided if it will resume production at the end of the week. The automaker also shut down two local production lines in January over its Daihatsu emissions test scandal.
