Always anxious to fight an election until now, Justin Trudeau called the unnecessary 2021 election so voters could fix the “mistake” of voting in a minority Liberal government in 2019.
He was hoping for a majority result from this unneeded election, but it blew up in his face and the result was pretty much unchanged with another minority Liberal government. Hence his deal with the NDP to guarantee his stay in power as long as possible.
Now it’s the voters who are waiting with baited breath for a new election to “fix” the mistake of having voted in Trudeau’s Liberal government in the last two elections.
Monday’s byelection in Toronto is a signal the Liberals will ignore.
The voters want change now, tomorrow couldn’t be soon enough.
But Justin Trudeau has a messianic complex that only he, in this world of misinformation and disinformation, can save Canada and the planet if given enough time. He is omniscient and his own best adviser (the one advising him not to resign).
Unfortunately for Canada, he will drag out his stay as Prime Minister to October 2025, leaving a ruined country in his wake.

Party poopers
Well what’s next for the Liberals after their crushing defeat in Toronto-St. Paul’s?
I can see it now: A four-day party conference at some far-away five-star retreat and spa complete with wagyu beef, lobster tail and of course imported Russian caviar, not to mention $200 bottles of champagne.
Theme of said conference: ‘How to get people to like us again.’

SARNIA, ONT.
(Yep, that sums it up.)
Take a hike
Now that a clear message has been sent to the Liberal Party, maybe Prime Minister Trudeau Jr. should bow out.
Please don’t be like your father and assume the people adore you and believe you can do no wrong.
Please, please, please get on the fuddle duddle train and ride into the sunset.
Oh, and take Minister Guilbeault with you.
