U.K.-based Consilium Insurance Brokers Ltd., a part of Aventum Group Ltd., has launched a new cargo stock throughput offering, which will be backed by Lloyd’s of London, Reinsurance News reported. The firm has tapped Jack Cooper as senior partner to lead the new unit. Mr. Cooper will join the firm from Alesco Risk Management Services Ltd., where he served as an executive director.
