Duo take on new roles
EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants (EPIC) has announced significant promotions within its leadership team.
Jacqueline Beaudet, formerly EPIC’s risk manager and director of compliance/regulatory, has been appointed as executive vice-president and general counsel. Meanwhile, Stephanie Zucker, previously vice president of surplus lines, has been promoted to senior vice president for compliance. The moves are part of EPIC’s ongoing efforts to bolster its legal and compliance capabilities.
Beaudet, who joined EPIC in 2017 following the acquisition of Frenkel & Company, brings extensive experience and a robust skill set in legal and compliance affairs to her new role. According to a company statement, her promotion aligns with EPIC’s strategic vision to integrate top-tier talent within its leadership ranks.
Dan Crawford, chief legal officer of EPIC’s parent company, Galway Holdings, LP, commented: “She has a wonderful combination of insurance business acumen and legal skill and expertise that allows her both to be a respected lawyer but also a highly collaborative business partner with the retail leadership of EPIC.”
Zucker’s elevation to senior vice president for compliance, meanwhile, was said to highlight her exceptional contributions. Zucker was noted as instrumental in advancing EPIC’s operational compliance initiatives, with her strategic leadership and dedication to collaborative teamwork.
Reflecting on Zucker’s promotion, Beaudet remarked: “Stephanie’s strategic approach and commitment to teamwork have been vital to our operations. Her new role is a testament to her capability to spearhead major initiatives and drive growth.”
In her new capacity, Zucker affirmed: “I am thrilled to step into this role and am committed to upholding our high standards of compliance while pushing the envelope on operational innovations that contribute to our firm’s success.”
