French insurer Groupama SA is seeking €150 million ($161 million) in windstorm reinsurance protection from the capital markets with the issuance of a new catastrophe bond, Artemis reported. The Ireland-based Quercus Re DAC 2024-1 will protect the insurer against losses from windstorms in France over a three-year period to July 8, 2027.
