Anime streaming platform Crunchyroll has announced Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, a trilogy of movies that will conclude the incredibly popular and award-winning anime Shonen series. The movies will be available to watch in theaters worldwide, except in some Asian territories.
This announcement was made on the same day as the final episode of the Hashira Training arc was aired. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle adapts the final arc of the popular manga, and while no release date has been confirmed yet for the trilogy, one can’t be far off given just how popular the manga and anime series are. With over 150 million copies of the manga in circulation, there are bound to be some big expectations for this movie trilogy finale.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba finally ends
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba premiered in April 2019. It is based on the manga of the same name, which has been running since 2016. The manga is published by SHUEISHA’s JUMP COMICS and consists of 23 volumes. The series is directed by Haruo Sotozaki at studio ufotable, with music by Go Shiina and Yuki Kajiura, and Akira Matsushima as chief animation director and character designer.
