Saskatoon city police are investigating two stabbings that happened in the city in two days.
Early Monday, around 12:20 a.m., a group of men in the area of Second Avenue South and 20th Street East flagged down patrol officers and reported that a man had been stabbed, police said in a news release on Tuesday.
Officers spoke with the victim, who had stab wounds.
“He explained he was stabbed by a female and male trying to steal his bike,” the release said, adding he was taken to hospital with serious injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

The female suspect was described as about 25 years old, with brown hair and tattoos on her hands and one of her eyebrows. She was wearing white pants and a dark windbreaker.
The male suspect was described as 6′ tall with average build, short hair, no facial hair and no tattoos.
The victim said one of the suspects wore a black hat and one wore a white hat.
On Tuesday afternoon, around 1:10 p.m., officers responded to reports of an injured person in the 1100 block of Broadway Avenue. Updates came in stating that a man was stabbed and the suspect had fled.
Arriving at the scene, officers found the victim with stabbing-related injuries. He was taken to hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, a police news release said.
Police were still investigating at the scene at the time the release was issued.
