More than 3,000 students in Saskatoon have finished their high school days, with fresh pursuits now in front of them.
In the final weeks of the 2023-24 school year, graduating classes took part in ceremonies around the city, including at their schools and also several at Merlis Belsher Place on the University of Saskatchewan campus.
Holy Cross had the city’s largest graduating class, with 374, followed closely by Centennial at 339 and Walter Murray at 325.

Among the graduating classes was the very first for Estey School, which is home to the Flexible Schedule Blended Learning (FLEX) program for students in Grades 6 to 12. The program has a wide range of participants, from those seeking classes outside of traditional schools to students who are part of sports or other activities.
According to Saskatoon Public Schools, FLEX this year includes baseball, soccer, softball, basketball, volleyball and hockey players; biathletes; climbers; cross-fitters; dancers; divers; equestrians; gymnasts; musicians; pianists; skiers; swimmers; weightlifters and wrestlers. FLEX provides programming for the Saskatoon Blades and the Indigenous Sports Academy.
