In both incidents, police said the victims were innocent bystanders.
Police said Jackline Gore, 24, of London, Ont., was struck by an errant bullet in the parking lot of a Mississauga bar in 2019.

Raneilia Richards, 19, of North York, was waiting in line with friends to get into the Jungle Event Space on Eglinton Ave. E. at Dixie Rd. around 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 31 when she was shot. She died at the scene.
Police said at the time that Richards was not the target and there were more than 100 people waiting to get into the club.
Peel Regional Police previously announced a $25,000 award for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever took Gore’s life, along with a video statement from both investigators and Gore’s family appealing for new breaks in the case.
