H.W. Kaufman Group said Tuesday that former American International Group Inc executive Paul Greensmith would join the company in October as CEO of H.W. Kaufman Group London.
Mr. Greensmith will head Kaufman’s operations across the U.K., Europe, South America and the Middle East. He will report to Kaufman Executive Vice President Jodie Kaufman Davis, the specialty brokerage and insurer said in a statement.
Mr. Greensmith was most recently global head of specialty for AIG, a position he stepped down from in May. Prior to that he was U.K. CEO for Axa XL, a division of Axa SA.
Kaufman also said James Stevenson will transition from H.W. Kaufman Group London managing director to a new role as executive chairman.
Andrew Thacker, executive director of Chesterfield Insurance Brokers Ltd., will serve as interim managing director of Chesterfield.
