Australia-based insurer Suncorp Group Ltd. renewed its main reinsurance program and added $350 million Australian ($236.2 million) to the top of its catastrophe reinsurance tower, taking it to AU$6.75 billion, Artemis reported. Suncorp also continues to have dropdown reinsurance covers that will decrease its second, third and fourth event retention to AU$250 million.
