French shipping and logistics company CMA CGM SA said its Benjamin Franklin ship faced adverse weather conditions off the coast of South Africa on July 9, resulting in the loss of 44 containers, gCaptain reported. The company also said that another 30 containers were reported damaged. The container ship was on a westbound voyage from Asia to Europe.
