The United Kingdom’s Groceries Code Adjudicator warned Amazon.com Inc. that it could be investigated if it does not improve its compliance with an industry code designed to protect suppliers, Reuters reported. An annual survey by the grocery watchdog found that less than half of respondents directly supplying Amazon believed the firm consistently or mostly complied with the Groceries Supply Code of Practice.
