In a recent interview promoting his new film Ajogyo, which marks Prosenjit’s 50th film with co-star Rituparna Sengupta, the actor told Bollywood Hungama, “I think I was around four or five, watching a scene where Sharmila aunty had to slap my father as part of an emotional scene between the hero and heroine.”
He fondly recalled an amusing incident during a lunch break.“She called and took me into her lap and I slapped her!” Prosenjit chuckled, adding, “Even today, whenever I meet her, she reminds me of that incident! She says, ‘You slapped me because I slapped your dad!’”
