The Windsor Police Service is investigating after one person was injured in a shooting that occurred in the city’s west-end on Monday evening.
In a tweet posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, shortly after 9 p.m. on Monday, Windsor police said there was a report of shots fired in the 1200 block of Campbell Avenue.
The incident occurred in the vicinity of West Gate Public School.

According to police, one victim was injured and transported to the hospital. Police describe the victim’s injuries as non-life-threatening.
Police said at the time that additional information will be released as it becomes available.
The Windsor Police Service is urging anyone who witnessed Monday’s shooting or has video footage of the incident to contact them immediately.
