According to a recent survey by Cohesity Inc., many companies in Singapore and Malaysia said that the threat of cyberattacks has increased or will increase, with nearly half expecting an increase of over 50%, SecurityBrief Asia reported. Most surveyed companies experienced a ransomware attack within the past six months. The study revealed that many organizations pay ransoms because they cannot sufficiently recover their data and restore business processes.
