The first server maintenance for EA Sports College Football 25 has been announced for July 17.
The college football simulator continues to make positive impressions among fans. While it’s still in the early access period, EA Sports will conduct the maintenance. While the exact purpose of today’s server maintenance hasn’t been confirmed, the developers have provided some important information, including the starting time and which game modes will be affected.
When will the EA Sports College Football 25 maintenance (July 17) begin?
CFBDirect posted information about today’s maintenance on X. According to the tweet, the maintenance will commence at 6 a.m. ET/3 a.m. PT/5 a.m. CST. Once the maintenance goes live, all forms of matchmaking will be temporarily stopped, and normal services will be restored once the server downtime is over.
So far, EA Sports hasn’t mentioned any information regarding when the July 17 maintenance will end. Judging from server downtimes of other games like EA FC 24, players should wait for about three to four hours before trying to play the online modes. However, maintenance could take longer.
This maintenance will affect players on all available platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
All modes that have online matchmaking will be affected when the servers go down. This includes the entirety of the Ultimate Team mode, as you have to sign in to the servers to access the content. The same applies to any form of friendlies and seasons that depend on online matchmaking.
Offline modes like Road to Glory and Dynasty should still be available for the players. Road to Glory is the best experience of what a college athlete’s life feels like as players go from being mere rookies to draft candidates for the NFL (you can even export your save file to Madden NFL 25 when the game comes out in August).
