Vantage Group Holdings Ltd. Thursday promoted Kelly Bellitti to chief pricing and portfolio actuary and named former Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance executive David Valzania as chief underwriting officer.
Both will report to Alex Blanco, insurance CEO, Vantage said in a statement.
This is an expanded role for Ms. Bellitti, who will have strategic oversight of Vantage’s insurance portfolio management and continue to lead its insurance pricing actuary team. She joined Vantage as senior vice president, chief pricing actuary of insurance, in 2021.
Ms. Bellitti will continue working from the company’s West Hartford, Connecticut, office, according to an email from a spokesman.
Mr. Valzania will lead underwriting policy making, standards and governance and head the overall alignment of Vantage’s insurance and underwriting strategies, the statement said. He will be based in Boston.
He was most recently senior vice president of multinational for Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of American International Group Inc.’s Bermuda division.
