- Arranger is the new role-playing puzzle game from Furniture & Mattress (really)
- It’s out now on Netflix Games for both iOS and Android
- Tasking you with rearranging the world around you, it offers a depth of story not seen in other puzzlers
Arranger, the puzzle RPG from Furniture & Mattress (yes, that’s their name) has been released on Netflix Games for Android and iOS. If you’re tired of puzzle games that simply pop you into an abstract location to solve problems, then maybe Arranger with its colourful cast and jazzy soundtrack is the game for you.
You play as Jemma, an orphan adopted by villagers, who was born with the unique ability to rearrange the paths around her world and everything in them. She decides to venture out to explore the wider world and, perhaps, discover the truth behind her origins.
To do so, however, she’ll need to master her abilities, and you’ll have to help her. Just be careful, because it’s not all sunshine and roses out there, with monsters aplenty alongside puzzles to solve.
Rearranging
We gave Arranger a positive review when we covered it initially, and given that (if you’re on Netflix) it’s free-to-play, we’d hardly be in a position to dissuade you from playing it. While the comparison to Braid may be a double-edged sword for some, make no mistake that this is a game with as many original ideas as familiar tropes.
And with the addition of a full-on plot to a usually quite detached genre, even for something as abstract as shifting pathways, you’re sure to enjoy Arranger.
