There will be a dog training demonstration at 10 a.m. for anyone striving for a better-behaved pup.
“Every dog has a unique style and personality,” said trainer Kb Singh. “Training them brings out their best, just like fashion enhances their charm. A well-trained dog is always in vogue.”
The Doggie Fashion Show starts at 11 a.m. with debonair dogs strutting down the runway.
“This event is a celebration of the incredible bond between dogs and their owners,” said DWBIA chair Chris MacLeod. “Watching these stylish pooches strut their stuff on the runway reminds us of the joy and connection that make every moment with our furry friends truly special.”
Windsor police Const. Marc Tremblay and his canine partner, Rolex, will take centre stage at 12:30 p.m. Dogs from the St. John’s Ambulance Pet Therapy Team will also be there.
The DWBIA said there will also be a free photo booth.
“Snap a picture-perfect moment with your pet at our complimentary photo booth and create memories that will last fur-ever.”
And for those looking for a new faithful friend, Second Chance Animal Rescue will be on hand to introduce dogs looking for their forever homes.
