Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son Pax Jolie-Pitt was taken to hospital after his electric bike was involved in a crash with a car.
The 20-year-old was treated at an LA hospital after suffering a head injury and hip pain, according to TMZ.
The publication reports Pax is now stable and may return home later today after doctors initially feared a minor brain bleed.
The incident happened on Monday on Los Feliz Blvd in LA during rush hour at around 5pm.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ Pax’s electric bike rammed into the back of a car at an intersection.
After the crash, the driver got out of his car to check on Pax before paramedics arrived.
Pax is the second oldest of former couple Brad, 60, and Angelina’s, 48, six children. They also share Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 15.
Last year, Pax hit the headlines for blasting his dad in an unearthed social media message from 2020 in which he called him an ‘awful human being.’
In the post unearthed by MailOnline, he said: ‘You time and time again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person.’
He went on: ‘You have no consideration or empathy towards your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence.
‘You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you are incapable of doing so.’
Pax concluded: ‘You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell. You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want but the truth will come to light someday.’
People in Brad’s inner circle later branded the allegations a ‘depressing smear’.
One of the A-lister’s pals said: ‘Brad has great respect for all of his children and it’s depressing to see this dragged up.’
They added to the Sun: ‘It’s frustrating to see Brad being painted as some kind of “bad person” when it’s far from the truth. He chooses to keep a dignified silence and that speaks volumes.’
While Angelina previously told BBC Women’s Hour none of her children were interested in pursuing acting, Pax has a passion for filmmaking. He worked in the assistant director department on his mum’s film Without Blood.
Pax also made a cameo in her 2014 film Maleficent and voiced the character Yoo in 2016 film Kung Fu Panda 3.
Pax’s mum Angelina, 48, adopted him from a Vietnamese orphanage in 2007 with Brad formally adopting him a year later.
His parents were together for 12 years before splitting in 2016.
Brad and Angelina met in 2005 on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith and since their split have been embroiled in various legal disputes.
Most recently, the former couple were locked in a huge battle over their Chateau Miraval estate after the Maleficent actress sold her share.
