Several airlines have suspended flights in and out of the Beirut-Rafic Al Hariri International Airport in Lebanon as insurers remove cover due to increasing tensions between Israel and the Hezbollah militant group, Airport Technology reported. Airlines Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Swiss International Air Lines, and Eurowings GmbH of the Lufthansa Group have decided to suspend their flights to or from Beirut up to and including Aug. 5.
