A 37-year-old LaSalle man is facing an impaired driving charge after colliding with two parked vehicles and a house.
Officers responded to the scene Tuesday just before 3 p.m., in the 500 block of Michigan Avenue.
LaSalle police say the driver lost control of his vehicle before striking two vehicles parked in a driveway. The chain reaction caused one of the parked vehicles to collide with the house.
Officers allege the man was impaired and arrested him.
He sustained minor injuries during the collision and was transported to hospital for treatment.
The man has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
His driver’s licence was automatically suspended for 90 days.
If convicted in court, he will have a criminal record and a fine of not less than $1,500.
He will also be prohibited from operating a motor vehicle for at least a year.
Police remind drivers not to drive impaired. Make arrangements for a safe ride home.
