Around 5:30 a.m., police were called to the 2900 block of 5th avenue in Regina’s North Central neighbourhood, near the North Central Family Centre.
“Police arrived on scene and located a 17-year-old individual with a serious, life-threatening injury,” police said in a statement.

The teenager was taken to the hospital, and is now “in stable condition.”
As the police continue to investigate what they describe as a “serious assault,” they are asking residents in that area to help them find out what happened. Anyone who has video surveillance is asked to “check for overnight activity that could assist in this investigation.”
If anybody finds something out of the ordinary in their video feed, or if they have more information about what happened, they can contact the Regina Police Service.
