- Star Wars: Hunters season two is officially here
- A new character, battlefield and cosmetics are all being introduced
- Play as disgruntled Imperial droid K-A0S
Zynga’s new Star Wars multiplayer hero shooter, Star Wars: Hunters, is getting a second season of content. The new 4v4 multiplayer game is set just after the fall of the empire and pits you and your teammates in gladiatorial battles as a variety of unique, original characters in the Star Wars universe.
And the latest of these is K-A0S, who you may recognise as one of the same series as Rogue One’s famously sociopathic droid K-2SO. And you may also recognise that their arms are the ones wielded by the Wookie character Grozz. Suffice it to say, that these two characters are set on a collision course in the new season.
There’s also a host of new Empire-themed cosmetics and the introduction of a new battlefield in the form of Darth Vader’s Castle on Mustafar. You’ll be able to check out new ranked rewards and store bundles to boot in this new season!
May the force be with you
It’s definitely chuckle worthy seeing a character pitted as a rival against one who tore off their arms. But then again that seems to be a habit with Wookies. For those of you looking for a jam-packed season two, the introduction of a new battlefield, character and cosmetics may be a bit light compared to other multiplayer games like Star Wars: Hunters. But given what we’ve seen so far, we have high hopes for the future.
