Piers Morgan took to Instagram to showcase his physique for his 2.2 million followers as he posed beside the world famous Muscle Beach in Venice California. He posed with his arms folded and his t-shirt sleeves rolled up to display his biceps using simply a bicep emoji as a caption.
The daring pose from the presenter, who is usually seen in smart suits, generated a mixed reaction from followers, many of whom found it highly amusing. They took to the comments to share their thoughts with him.
@gigi_agent99 wrote: “Wow, you look so tough. Almost tougher than my Navy SEAL husband (who would never in a million years post a narcissistic photo of himself).”
@robertfingleton joked: “You’re in the States so have a constitutional right to bare arms!” However @3303wq wasn’t amused though and chimed in: “Wtf you are more and more pitiful every single day.”
Piers has been posting images from his American getaway while his show Uncensored takes a break for the summer.
He posted to the show’s social media channels urging fans to “keep it uncensored” as he announced the YouTube show would be off air until September.
He announced the news in a clip which also showed some highlights from the season.
“Uncensored is taking a brief summer pause after an epic six months since going fully digital! That’s it for now Uncensored. Here’s a reminder of why we’re the world’s fastest-growing news and views channel on YouTube,” the caption accompanying it read.
In the highlight clip Piers could be seen chatting to the likes of controversial actor Armie Hammer and Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters. Piers himself top and tailed the clip thanking people for their support and explaining the break.
“That’s it for now. Uncensored is taking a brief summer pause to recharge our batteries…” he said at the beginning of the clip.
He then introduced a montage of clips from the preceding six months of shows which he said: “may show why we’re the fastest-growing news and views channel on YouTube in the world.”
Following the compilation he assured viewers: “We are back at full speed in September. I’ll see you then. Until that day, keep it uncensored.”
