According to a new survey by Cloudflare, Inc., half of Australian businesses have paid a ransom after falling victim to ransomware attacks in the past two years, Technology Decisions reported. It was found that 41% of Australian organizations surveyed had experienced data breaches in the past 12 months, with 33% indicating they suffered 11 or more breaches. The industries that suffered the most breaches were manufacturing, transportation, and education.
